Sunrise over the temples of Bagan is pure magic - get up for it!

There is no “best temple” for sunrise. When in doubt, ask the locals.

Hot air balloons don’t fly outside of peak season in Bagan.

Ostello Bello has wonderful hostels in Bagan, Mandalay, and Inle Lake.

Visit Monkey Mountain outside of Bagan. Your photos will be better from the hill opposite the temple.

Proper dress is required (and respectful) when visiting temples.
